Ribbon Flowers

It began in 2009 when I lost my favorite hat, and couldn't replace it; I was annoyed at the ugly flowers or decoration on any hat I could afford. I began making my own ribbon flowers, just around the time when ACE (Arts Community of Easton) started a tent at the Easton Farmer's Market . I enjoy seeing the response people have to these flowers, which I make into pins, hair clips and other accessories and ornaments.

Recently I've begun making ribbon flowers from reclaimed fabric, in conjunction with my Slow Fashion project.
